The rate of conversion has been taken as 1.48 Euros to £1 (Financial Times closing rate at 17.11.2006) for calculating the £ Sterling prices for the holidays in our brochure. Should there be any fluctuation in currency we reserve the right to impose a surcharge but will absorb an amount equivalent to 21/2 % of the holiday price. If any surcharge means that your holiday price goes up by more than I0% you can cancel your holiday with a full refund, but if you do decide to do this you must notify us within 7 days from the issue date of the invoice. To protect your interests, and to comply with EC Directives, all monies that you pay us for your holiday will be held in a separate Trustee bank account, and only when the Trustees are satisfied that the holiday has been completed will the money be released to us. You are thus fully protected in the event of our insolvency. All holiday bookings made more than 8 weeks before the intended date of departure must be accompanied by the appropriate deposit. In these cases the balance of the holiday charge is payable not later than 8 weeks before the intended date of departure.We are entitled to treat any failure to pay such balance by the due date as cancellation of the booking by the client. Where bookings are made 8 weeks or less before the intended date of departure, the whole holiday charge is payable at the time of booking. If you do have to cancel your holiday, the following cancellation charges will apply from the date that we receive written notification. Cancellation more than 42 days before departure: deposit only. Cancellation between 28-42 days before departure: 25% of the full price of the holiday. Cancellation between 15-28 days before departure: 50% of the full price. Cancellation between 5- I5 days before departure: 70% of the full price. Cancellation within 4 days before departure: I00% of the full price of the holiday. All holidays in our brochure operate subject to a minimum number of bookings. We therefore reserve the right to cancel your holiday should this number not be reached, and in the event will return all money you have paid or will offer you an alternative holiday. In no case (except see note below) will we cancel later than 8 weeks before departure. (Note: the period of at least 56 days notice before cancellation will not apply to changes caused by war, threat of war, riot, civil strife,terrorist activity, natural disasters, and similar events beyond our control). We only accept your booking on condition that you take out full holiday insurance to cover you against all eventualities.We reserve the right to ask you to produce the insurance certificate prior to departure. Clients are accepted on our tours on condition that they are physically and mentally fit to undertake the holiday. The above conditions apply to all holiday bookings accepted by the company. No contract exists between us until the company has received the booking form properly completed, together with any payment required by these conditions to be paid with it. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your person, your luggage or your personal property or for any other damages caused by the total or partial failure to carry out any contract unless it can be shown to be the direct result of negligence on the part of the company.Where we are found to be liable for damages, the maximum amount of such damages will be limited to the price for the holiday.
